(Aero K), today announced a partnership that will provide global mobile data coverage to Aero K’s fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft for domestic and international flights.
Currently in the final stages of obtaining an Aircraft Operating Certificate (AOC), Aero K will serve multiple destinations in Asia within the 2020 calendar year, starting with Jeju as a domestic route in August.

The cellular data service can be used by tablet devices for cockpit, cabin, and ground crews to enable access to flight plans, weather reports, eTechLogs, charting map updates, passenger manifests, and more.
SKYTRAC’s partnership with GigSky, a provider of seamless global cellular data coverage in over 200 countries, will enable Aero K to leverage intelligent connectivity solutions across the entire enterprise while eliminating costly roaming overages. It also simplifies the airline’s accounting processes by providing one easy-to-manage invoice across the fleet. In addition, Aero K will benefit from the ability to share data, allowing users that require a higher percentage of total data to access it without penalty.
