SKYTRAC has partnered with Flight Data Services, a global leader in outsourced Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, the sophisticated flight data graphing, visualization and analysis features of Flight Data Services’ POLARIS FDM platform will be directly embedded in SKYTRAC’s renowned SkyWeb online data management portal. In addition, SKYTRAC will be supported by Flight Data Services’ experienced team of flight data analysts. SKYTRAC fixed and rotary wing customers will benefit from a unique combination of one-stop access to self-serve reports, coupled with personalized analysis from professionally trained FDM experts.
“Over the last three decades, SKYTRAC has grown to become a one-stop hub for aviation-based data management solutions. Our partnership with Flight Data Services extends this vision. We are combining the industry’s leading FDM services with our innovative systems for real-time flight tracking, data acquisition and intelligent alerts,” said SKYTRAC CEO Stephen Sorocky.
“Our collaboration with SKYTRAC makes our advanced POLARIS data analysis platform accessible to a wider range of operators. Flight Data Services exists to advance flight safety in whichever ways we can, and I see this as a significant step in the right direction,” said Dave Jesse, CEO, Flight Data Services.
In 2016, the SKYTRAC SkyWeb portal serves over 6500 global users and supports FDM clients in emergency services, oil & gas, and commercial charter sectors. SKYTRAC continues to invest in expanding its portfolio of aviation data management and business efficiency tools. In addition to the Flight Data Service integration, SKYTRAC is engaged in custom projects to auto-download FDM data post-flight, integrate flight logs with clients’ 3rd party software, and facilitate inter-fleet voice communications using the new Iridium Push-to-Talk solution.
“Our mission is to provide a portal where clients can manage all aspects of their aviation business – increasing overall safety, profitability and efficiency of operations,” states Sorocky.
