Solakonferansen is an annual conference hosted by the Solakonferansen Foundation since 1987. During these 35 years, Solakonferansen has established itself as one of the most important meeting points for those looking to improve the quality and safety of aviation. Solakonferansen has hosted several ministers of transportation, influential individuals from European and American aviation, and people from both the public and non-profit sectors. The diverse participants fuel discussions and new ideas on improving aviation safety.
The theme for this year’s conference is OEM’s contributions to environmentally friendly operations. The program will touch on how the oil and gas industry is being called to minimize its environmental impact and how the offshore helicopter segment will need to advance its technology, operations, and procedures. The conference is held from September 19 to September 21 at the Clarion Hotel in Sola, Norway.
